Xmas

We had the second biggest family Christmas ever in 2013.  There was 31 people there!  We had it at Uncle Dom's house.  We unwrapped presents, ate a lot of food, and swam in their pool.

After Christmas we went to Donnybrook and went to a big playground.  It was really hot, so we didn't even stay for an hour.

Then we went camping in Boyup Brook.  Clem and his friend Geoff were meeting us there on their 400kms bike ride between Bunbury and Albany.  The next day we met Geoff's kids and his wife in Walpole campsite and stayed with them for 2 nights.

That's our tent and behind it is their enormous tent!

One day we went to the Valley of the Giants Treetop walk and THIS picture is of me and Lily Bear the travelling bear.

Now we are at Bruce's farm near a town called Denmark.  This is me in my new hat on the back of the ute.

  1. Great to have all this news! I can't be sure of any of you on the big lunch pic except Grandma Maria I think, but what fun for you all, and so good to be outside, and have the swimming pool. Is there room enough for four in the green tent still, or did you all grow too much on Christmas Day? Love the pics of you on the tree walk, and you obviously enjoyed the ute journey! Good to see GREEN fields in the distance - what did you enjoy on the farm especially? Are there cows and sheep, or is it mainly arable? Nana x

  2. Dear Lily,
Happy New Year! I looks like you are having far too much fun.
We are just preparing entries for the music festival. Would you like to be entered for violin? Have you been practising? For your class it would be one piece of your own choosing. Please reply if you would like us to enter you for the festival.

    1. Hi Ms Brown
Lily says yes she'd like to do it this time, and would the tune '100 Pipers' from Violin Star 1 be ok? She has been plucking it but could probably bow it. We had a loan of a violin for a while and she did do some practising but we're travelling about now so won't be able to do more until we get home - she'll have to work hard then! Thanks.

  3. Forgot to say "that's a great hat - specially made for keeping Lily's ears warm!" Just the thing to have handy when you get to Glasgow Airport. Nana x
